CERT

I had my second CERT training class last night.  Once I have finished taking the rest of the classes, I should be in a better position to help in emergencies and contribute something back to the community.  I encourage you to check out the link and see if there is a way that you can help too!

Two Terms

Good Morning.  I am going to do a short post this morning about two Risk Management terms that I have heard show up on PHR/SPHR certification exams occasionally.  I may come back later and do a full post on each.  Right now, I just want to get the term out so that you have at least heard it.  If you want to, please feel free to comment after the post.

Two Terms

Teratogen - This is a type of chemical that may not affect a pregnant woman, but can affect reproductive health, harming an unborn child.

MSDS - Short for a Material Safety Data Sheet, a form that presents regulated occupational safety and hazard data on chemicals as instructed by OSHA.

Be sure to study up on these terms more closely before taking any PHR/SPHR exam.  Have a great day

And remember all of you Human Resources professionals: Be Human... Be a Resource... Be a Resource for Humans.
